Library Express - Requests for campus document delivery and borrowing of materials from other libraries are placed and tracked through
the Library Express system.
Prior to using Library Express the first time, please contact the Interlibrary Loan office (email:
gzmill@library.wisc.edu or phone: 262-1193) about setting up an account for you.
The first time you log into Library Express you will see McBurney Resource Center as your pickup library. Please do not change this. All your materials will be delivered to Memorial Library. Please also make sure that your email is correct. If not, please follow the directions on that page.
Articles:
- Under Submit a New Request, select Request an Article or Other Copy.
- Answer "No" to the question "Do you want this if it's not free?" There is a $2 charge for articles delivered from UW-Madison library collections which will be waived for registered Paging Service students.
- Leave your account choice as Free-Item only available off campus.
- Complete the rest of the form. If you have any additional notes place them in the space provided. Please include if you cannot locate this item on campus.
- Submit the request.
Books or other loans:
- WorldCat:
- On Article and Book Delivery Services page, select WorldCat under Books and Media. This will take you to the WorldCat search interface.
- Do a search for your title.
- Click on the title that you would like to order.
- Under External Resources select "Borrow through Library Express".
- Enter your 11-digit UW-Madison ID number and your last name (lower case).
- Submit the request.
- Library Express:
- On Article and Book Delivery Services page, select Library Express under Books and Media and log in with your 11-digit UW-Madison ID number & last name (lower case).
- Under Submit a New Request, select Request a Book or Other Loan.
- Complete the rest of the form.
- Submit the request.
