Document Conversion

Quick Steps for Requesting Materials

  1. Identify materials that you will be using Doc Con for, either by contacting your professors or checking book information on the Student Center (remember that the Student Center does not include information about non-book materials like readers and eReserves and may not be up-to-date).
  2. Check RFB&D, Bookshare, and Project Gutenberg to see if your books are already available. If they are available from Project Gutenberg, you can download them without submitting a request to the Doc Con Coordinator.
  3. Email your requests to the Document Conversion Coordinator. For books, be sure to include title, author, copyright/edition, and ISBN (if known). Also include whether or not the book was available from the organizations listed in step 2. If you would like a book from RFB&D, include the RFB&D product number. Always say which class the material will be used for and include a syllabus, if available.
